Austin Miniatures' Cold War range is based around a fictional World War Three scenario where the Cold War went "hot". Soviet forces launched full scale invasions into Europe, The US and even some strategic islands in the Pacific. The Soviet Mechanized infantry "Motostrelki" proved to be a formidable force and very quickly conquered most of Europe. The elite and rapid deploying VDV also fought in fierce battles all across the US.
